The PRS was created to promote and grow the sport of long-range precision shooting competition in a safe, fair and practical manner for shooters of all skill levels and ages.
It consists of three Divisions:
Bolt Gun, Gas Gun, and Sportsman.
There are 6 Categories to allow everyone to compete within a group of similar shooters:
Military/Law Enforcement, Ladies, Seniors, Junior, International and Suppressor.
The PRS combines various scenarios to challenge practical applications of precise shooting skill. It is an annual points race in a national format providing structure and tracking of scores from local, regional and national events.
